Broadview to Soon Merge with ADT

If you haven‘t heard the news by now, Broadview Security is soon to merge with ADT. Tyco, the company which owns ADT Security, announced that they purchased Broadview Security, formerly Brink’s Home Security. The deal was a pricey one—valued at $2 billion. Many people think that the combination of these two leaders in the security industry is definitely a smart move.

ADT is considered the most recognized name in the security industry today. ADT offers commercial and residential security solutions to millions of customers world-wide. Burglar, fire, carbon monoxide, and medical protection are only a few of the services that ADT provides their customers. ADT also offers home surveillance systems; including easy to operate home security cameras and DVR’s at very competitive pricing. Besides the state-of-the-art equipment that ADT uses in each of their alarm and camera installations, they also offer many guarantees such as their Theft Protection Guarantee, Money Back Service Guarantee, and the ADT Mover’s Security Guarantee. Not too many security companies offer these incentives, which makes ADT one of the leaders that they are today.

Broadview Security is also a recognized leader in the industry, and the company is a consumer favorite when it comes to affordability and customer satisfaction. Broadview Security was originally Brink’s Home Security. The Brink’s Company announced in June 2009 that they would be re-branding Brink’s Home Security and Broadview Security was the result. Some customers were unhappy about the name change since Brink’s Home Security bared the Brink’s name. A name that has been trusted since the 1800’s. However, Broadview Security kept their promise and stayed true to the Brink’s name by not only offering superior service, but their services remained affordable for homeowners all over the US and Canada. Today, over 1.3 million customers are secured by a Brinks/Broadview Security system. Now that Broadview Security is soon to merge with ADT, there are no doubts that customers will not only have access to the great service that Broadview Security is famous for, but they will also have access to cutting-edge technology that ADT has to offer.

ADT and Broadview Security merging is not only good for the companies, it is also great for consumers. ADT offers some of the most technologically advanced alarm products out today, while Broadview Security offers outstanding customer service. The services that these two remarkable security companies provide will only complement each other in the residential and commercial security industry. Having access to the latest in technology and superior customer service is what we need when securing our homes and our businesses.

If you have put off getting a security system in your home or your office because you didn’t know how to choose between the two—Brinks or ADT, there is no reason to put off securing your home or business any longer. Broadview Security will soon start operating under the ADT name. And when they do, you can bet that ADT will be an even stronger security company now that they have the power of Broadview Security behind them too.
